My emotional wife...

This is Kent posting. I talked Leah into making me a co-author of her blog. After a few posts, we will see if I don't getting writing privileges revoked.

So many jokes have been made at the expense of pregnant women in the past, particularly about their emotional...sensitivities. While I always thought they were funny, we didn't really experience that with Carter. Leah was so excited to be having a baby that I never really saw much of the random weepiness or roller-coasters that are supposedly so commonplace with expecting mothers.

Enter baby #2. This time around, Leah has been more...attuned to her...emotional side. Yep, that's how I am going to say it. For your reading and viewing pleasure, I want to include two videos that we have seen recently that left her with tears streaming down her face and me cracking up laughing next to her.

#2 Leah was really amazing and got us tickets to game 5 of the Thunder vs Nuggets playoff series for our five year anniversary a few weeks ago. While there (at the best basketball game I have ever been to), there was a video of Rumble the Bison running through Oklahoma City getting people to do "the wave." He then ran through the arena and everybody there did the wave as well. This show of community, togetherness and support for both our city and our basketball team was more than she could bear...see it here.

I doubt you can see it in the video, but Leah is standing there tearing up a bit. She is in section 101.

Just thought I would share with you some of the fun we are already having with baby #2 on the way.
